  1. Past hour
  2. Talked to BloodSaint today. He may pop in and post some stuff. We used to do Holiday and themed skins (two are from April Fools): Even had a skin that never saw the light of day unfortunately: Some of the original masthead logos by BloodSaint:
  3. To the mods. Is it time to open up a sub-forum in the Chaos section for Emperor's Children? Where we can start to talk about the Slaanesh and The Emperor's Children in more general terms. Cpt.Danjou
  4. I don't know what to say, but he came out great Thanks for including the recipes, too!
  5. Only three months for Siege of Vraks? Hell yeah! Shame that Morvenn Vahl will only come out till next year.
  6. Best outcome I see for DG is some generic character designed for a skew list. Something like a DG Shambler Lord who leads and buffs Poxwalkers or something. More likely, however, GW will decide it's time for your scheduled AoS tie-in and you'll share the upcoming 5 unit Pestigor wave with the Maggotkin of Nurgle.
  7. You’re in luck. I have a lot from Instagram thats basically wasted there. There is at least 12 more for Prospero
  8. Yeah, I reckon that's what EC will be getting over a couple editions (assuming they don't get the TSons treatment and skip an entire edition by getting poorly selling AoS and Fantasy stuff dumped into the list). From my list I predict Fulgrim, Lucias, Noise Marines, Punk-Rock Cultists and Sonic Terminators for the initial launch wave.
  9. Re: Killing Daemons Obviously, Daemon killing weapons work (as that's their job). We've been shown a few times that bringing the Light of the Emperor into the Warp itself obliterates Daemons, so there's that. If you were a Chaos God (or some other strong enough warp entity), you could simply reabsorb a Daemon split off from you and therefore its existence as an independent being ceases. Most Wards, Rituals and True Naming stuff merely banish the Daemon back to the warp for a long time tho.
  10. Most of this seems plausible individually, but I doubt that we'd get so much in one go, just based on the World Eaters update. Restraining expectations seems to be the wise choice. I am personally limiting my expectations to Fulgrim, one character (possibly a dual kit), and 3 units, probably in the "cultist + battleline Astartes + elite Astartes" configuration. Anything more will be appreciated but surprising.
  11. Y'know, taking extra-codex stuff into consideration the depiction of EC is increasingly out of whack. Especially since more and more non-codex offically approved stuff has 40k Noise Marines in Heresy-Era Purple and Gold. So I find myself wondering whether this art from MTG is going to end up being prophetic in anyway: You've got the Heresy colours, the 40k backpack, the speaker mouth and that insane guitar gun. Not sure if they're in MkVI armour or not tho, since personally I can really only tell via the helmet...
  12. You can tell it isn't Damoclean. I have no objection to all Players gaining Common Lore: Imperium (Damocles Hive) as a Free Advance (ie it costs nothing, and doesn't change your Rank progression). Soon. There's a murder afoot sir. I'm just hanging fire for other players to post/check/etc.
  13. Today
  14. Sadly, I think Cult specific Dreadnaughts/Helbrutes aren't ever happening (otherwise we'd have our Psyker dred by now...)
  15. Hey boss, would Reynard recognise the lion icon? Is it Damoclean? Do I need to roll anything to identify it? (Would those of us from DH have picked up Common Lore: Damocles from our time there?) Or are we moving on to talk to 'Cassie'?
  16. Finally got round to reading this after a LONG slog through Martyr's Tomb and WOW... Just superb. You can absolutely feel the horror as things begin to change in the story. Chris Wraight nailed it.
  17. I'm guessing Harald was just a chunky action monkey. No WE. He played against Chaos daemons, TS, Drukari, SM Ironstorm, and GK.
  18. No sweat, you're a busy man. I dig it. I'll just break my heart you're avoiding me over there behind the GM screen... Hope you get some good rest, my friend. I'll autopilot your lad.
  19. Thanks very much. Terminator bomb is very much my kind of thing. I'm trying not to jump into this as my Dark Angel return was quite negative. The terminators were so incredibly disappointing. I love termies, and found they just really stunk for DA, the points drop gave them a touch more use, but still questionable in my findings. (One game since the changes though.) Wolves termies have always been among the best in game. I'm assuming this still holds true. Thanks a lot for this. (For people without an account): So what I like about this is all the Wulfen. What role would Harald play? Also I forgot to look it up but I wonder if this guy played any World Eaters. I think that would be a very hard match up for this. I guess the Gladius is the only way... for now. Thanks again. I am a bit gunshy since the DA codex dropped. I still try to play them but not how I want. They still remain far better at shooting imho. My hope is Wolves bring more balance to that.
  20. Reynard: OOC: Yes, you can assume Jenkins will Assist. Chekhov is busy on the intracoms vox links. From vaguely overheard noises, you can detect he's being kept appraised of the situation in the servitor compartments. 'Hmm.' Jenkins makes an interested little buzzing noise as he peruses the data, practiced fingers dancing to isolate and track. It appears it's a metadata string for a compliment of medical supplies going into port, the actual string converts to a icon, a lion's head, with a proud, swept mane. 'It's a receipt tag. It would have lain pretty much ignored in the junk-stack which gets purged every thirty days.' He rubbed his chin. 'Throne's bones, it isn't much to go on.' Chekhov comms off the comms and snaps a switch on a vox-horn in the console of the comms-sub deck. 'Cassie? It's the Seneschal.' 'What's the matter now, Cheeky?' the woman replies, with an annoyed sigh. 'Get your books ready, I'm coming down with an exoarcheo-palaeontologist.' There's a cough, then the voice comes back, full of excitement. 'Really? Wow, that's f- er, that's great! I'll be ready!' The link cuts and Chekhov grins at you. That way. You know the one.
  21. Da Gobbo Rides Again. Who says BL can’t do multi-authour series well? This and the preceding two novellas are evidence that it’s possible. Recommended heartily and unreservedly. As dark as anything else in 40k but also the most Optimus thing they’ve published. 10/10.
  22. I have no doubt that's how GW sees it too, but for me (and I suspect I'm not alone) is the opposite: The lore comes first, the minis second, and the games a distant third. Bad stories and worldbuilding can be a huge turn off. Even with nice models associated like HH Salamanders, for example.
  23. Azadth: The Templar hawked and spat bloody phlegm onto the deck at the Codicier's approach. It failed to sizzle, proving the rumour true. Dorn's bloodline did not have the Killing Bite. What little it mattered was abandoned to the stream of consciousness, trivia stored away in the sump of recollection, as the two new Astartes approached. One of them, the shield-bearer, carried livery that Azadth knew not. The other, the Seer, however was a different blend of chai altogether, and he wasn't sure he appreciated the bouquet. A Black Guard, a Child of Raven Feather. There was enough distance to part them from each other's throats, bloodlines thinned and cooled by divorce and winnowing of the Second Founding. 'Greetings,' he said. He bowed with the sign of the Aquila, genteel, as tradition demanded on first meeting. Like his Sergeant-Hetman, Azadth too was unhelmed, the small, inoffensive smile so well worn, plastered on his face.
  24. Sorry, to be clear, I wasn't saying that having a bionic heart didn't have any in-game effect. Obviously it does, +1TB and Sprint, like you said. I was just saying it doesn't change anything by which of the 2 hearts (or even both) is replaced by the bionic, there is a level of freedom to choose how you want to fluff that detail?
  25. I like your list, but would honestly trade the exalted unit for a sonic helbrute
