Infernal Finish Line

Maybe I lied? Daemon players don’t have to be honest about their gaming/modeling status to they? I wouldn’t think so. But I have AS status to report as well so I guess that will keep me honest.
First off – let’s deal with the Daemons.
I played around more with the Nurgle DP, and here he is:

Not much of a change per se other than maybe a bit more polished. It could have gone as well with leaving the gunk off the base but I’m going to shelve such debates for the time being. Needless to say, there’s room to improve my basing (along with the rest of my modeling).
So here’s where I’m at with the KoS:

The purple & red theme continues to serve for this army which does look good when you see them altogether (all 4 ruinous powers that is). He still needs a good deal of touch-ups & dull coating. Still that’s the gist of it.
And for the Fiends:

In the same way, the dominant Fiend will have the primary purple color while the subordinates will have a paler appearance. I’m tempted to gloss coat the final product aside from the claws, hooves & fur. If it then doesn’t turn out to my liking I can always dull coat over it (that’s the best way to protect the paint anyway).
So from an infernal finish line perspective:
Touch-up the 2 MC’s above
Finish the 2 Fiends above
Paint up 3 more Fiends in the pale skin, black mane theme
Convert & paint up the last Nurgle DP
Then maybe finish one of the Soul Grinders I converted a ways back. (big maybe)
Angels Sanguine
Redux
Spring is in the air and if you happen to live in my neighborhood so is the fresh scent of aerosol primer. With the turn in the weather I’ve been out on my back porch, spraying up 4-6 sprue frames at a time.
So, I’m now sitting on about 20+ primed marines to begin swelling the ranks. The shift from Tactical marines to jumpless Assault marines is the primary factor. I already have decided the Company/Squad affiliations so I now need to make up some new decals and start assembly.
I also got underway with the first Baal Pread. Really, looking forward to painting up the flamestorm turrets.
So the question before me now is timing. How long with it take for me to get this army all modeled up? Will I even play my first BA game yet this year? At my current rate it seems unlikely. But you never know. I’ll opt to think positively, look forward to some summer events and see what can happen.
So always more to come, -OMG

The symbol of Slaanesh would be too dull no?
What about a swirling Slanee'sque symbol in the vein of this (the closest I could come to what I was thinking of). I think that swirly freehand in a complimentary colour would tie in well with his jewellery and cloth garments, as long as it is not overdone.
