Angels Sanguine
The Imperium Calls
The 4th installment of the Call of Chaos / Call of the Imperium are now posted for sign-up. Strange to be on the Imperial side of that equation for a change but time marches on.
Here’s what I’ve committed:

- Librarian, "Senix 'Senis" - terminator armor, storm shield
- 6th Assault (Tac) Squad, "Ardent" - 5 strong, flamer, power weapon, jumpless
- 8th Assault Squad, "Occasus" - 9 strong, power fist, jumpless
- Baal Predator #8, "Vesuvio" - flamestorm cannon, heavy flamer sponsons
- Baal Predator #9, "Dominar" - flamestorm cannon
)- within the space of 3 months.
And here’s where I’m at:

Squad Ardent
These models constitute all the jumpless assault marines I need for my initial BA list. Along with working on these guys, I spent some time updating existing models. A Sanguinary Priest needed a power weapon. A pair of assault marines needed to re rearmed with meltaguns. A few more swaps like that and things will start shaping up nicely.
I also started pulling together the parts I need for my Librarian in terminator armor – yet another model where I’m just going to have to violate the, “helmetless Angels Sanguine” fluff. Oh well, it won’t break my heart to do so.
For some reason the amount of work to get this all done doesn’t seem to daunting to me. I think the army might be ready for a test run in the very near future. Here’s hoping so anyway.
Expect more in the near future.

Actually, as you’ll soon see in my next post, I cheated myself out of basing these guys. Since I need the new models to match the old I was going to use the same basing approach (makes sense) but after a quick rethink I opted to do something a little different. So I added some shale & a new mix of sand and am now much happier with the results. Just a minor setback.
But I’ll leave the actual update for when I can take some pics.
AND, Daemons never sleep. Good mod brother number6 and I had a grueling game vs. his Tau just last Thursday. I’m sure I’ll be adding a few more models here and there as we go. Mech Tau & Eldar will always be their nemesis but oh well. I still have a great time playing them.

think il have a go at the call of the imperium as well, perhaps see if i can use the push to FINALY finish my army once and for all....but unlikely
keep it up OMG, at this pace youll need less then a month
