A different kind of Eldar (Player)

Played against an Different Eldar player in May at 1,100 points. Annoying fella. Though he had more games played under his belt, he was still partially stuck in 3rd Edition. For example, he claimed that ICs cannot be targetted if they are within 6" of another friendly unit. It's this kind of players that bug me; veteran players still stuck in the old rulebook. However, I did gained a few insights.

Thirty-Second Lesson Learned
Counter-Charge: A tactic where one or more close-combat specialist unit are placed behind or near a screener unit, where the screener unit baits the enemy into engaging them so that the close-combat specialist units will assault them with their full number of attacks in the following round. He got me with this tactic. I shall be more vigilant against this tactic in the future.

Edit: I already posted this as the 23rd Lesson Learned, but it seemed that I have inadvertently repeated this one. I should double-check my entries in future postings. Oh well, lesson learned.

Thirty-Third Lesson Learned
Fire Prism is a bane for Death-Raven armies because of its assortment of equipable wargears could make it nigh indestructable. My opponent fielded a mechanize Eldar army with this thing. If this is the Eldar's staple mechanized unit, then I'll have to build my army to combat armoured units as well.

Thirty-Fourth Lesson Learned
I used Ezekiel in my roster against this opponent, primarily because I wanted to counter the Farseer (which I expected my opponent to field) and it's psyker powers. It was a waste of HQ slot. To play Death-Raven, I must learn to accept the fact that I could never field any other HQ other than Belial or Sammael. I'll just have to counter psykers some other way. No more Ezekiel. Just Belial and Sammael.

Thirty-Fifth Lesson Learned
In 1,000 point game or less, I will only field either Belial or Sammael. Too much points are wasted if I field both. I need to come up with a roster for low point games.
