darkbubba Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 Personality wise I can see Johnny Depp as Ignace Karkasy or maybe Ewan McGregor, Kate Beckinsale as Euphrati Keeler or Helena Bonham-Carter, Geoffrey Rush as Erebus, Kenneth Brannagh or Ian McKellen as Malcador, Daniel Craig as Loken or maybe Dorn, Michael Dorn (Worf) as Vulkan, Jason Statham in there somewhere maybe Torgaddon or in a leap Angron. Okay I know he's too old for a movie but I think in voice casting Schwarzenegger as Dorn or maybe live action as Iacton Qruze. Christian Bale as Fulgrim, Russell Crowe as Russ, Liam Neeson as the Emperor, Stephen Lang, the evil colonel in Avatar, as Angron or Lorgar, Sam Worthington in some role I could see him as Loken and Paul Bettany as Sanguinius. (Though it looks as though The Hobbit movies will probably be his last. ;) ) Angron should be played by Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek). In heavy makeup. And a suit. His voice is just so.... angry. When I read the books and Angron speaks, I hear Worf yelling. I actually picture Daniel Craig as Saul Tarvitz, even with short hair. If Peter Cushing were alive or Vincent Price they would make great Malcadors. Richard Burton would have made a pretty cool emperor. Back to the living: Alec Baldwin in there somewhere, Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko in DS9) as Vulcan or Angron. Heck even the marines will have to be too. They may resemble humans, but not quite, especially so with the primarchs. So what I would suggest would be the best actors with the best voices. I can't think of an actor right now to play that part. And while I like Temeura Morrison, I don't see him as Horus. I think he could be Garviel Loken, or Nathaniel Garro. Horus should be...Lance Henriksen. Totally him. Good choice for old Gilly' but I think all the actors should be old but not past 50, then they look to frail, unless it's for Mortarion and Magnus who need the wise aged look Eh.
