I'm ok with doing one eye, but once it comes to 2 I can never make them match up and looking in the same direction! PorridgeMeister: Thanks. Just need an Ironclad dread and I got one of each type, I do love dreads! Annoying setback, the new Gryphonne Sepia I bought was from a bad batch. I didn't notice until I had washed all the marines I was working on with it and saw they were very different from the others I had done. It looks superb and yet very different to the other lightning style power weapons I've seen. No worries I was actually just getting back into the hobby after a break so updates will be resuming! I start by painting the weapon Orkhide Shade, then doing a thick line in the rough shape of a lightning bolt in Snot Green, paint a thinner line inside the Snot Green with Goblin Green, then an even thinner line inside the Goblin Green with Scorpion Green. With a 1:1 mix of Scorpion Green and Sunburst Yellow, I paint a very thin line in the bends of the lightning, and where the lightning meets the weapon then add a small speck of skill white in those same areas. When I get the time, I could do a step by step since I will need to do more power weapons anyways! Did a bit of assembling to get back into the army, did 5 scouts with shotguns, Sergeant has a combi-melta and melta bombs.
