The Magos biologis is my favourite he's just so...Dark Mechanicum Iconic.

 

Imust say i'm not really sure about the flayer kins yet (too simple a conversion for you) we'll see after you 'll add what you want to.

But they is awesome, I never would have thought of using Dark eldar codex for Dark Mechanicum, now that's all I can think of!

 

I wanna se more (and painted :huh: )

Those flayerkin are great! They're exactly the sort of genetic experiments I imagine the darker forces of the 40k universe would both create and utilise. Interesting looking slaughterfiend, my only concern would be the teerth, they look a little flimsy. Then again, I suppose you won't want them to be much bigger or bulkier.

So time for another update :) first of all I have updated my army list on the first page of this thread.

 

Next I have a couple more concept sketches.

 

Heres Barröth Vex "The Tormentor" - Arch Dark Magos Biologis (counts as a Haemonculus Ancient)

He will be made from a Forge World Renegade Preacher

 

Next is the sketch for the Reaper Drones (count as Hellions)

These guys will be made out of Tau Stealth suit caparaces with added detail & Maximini Jump packs

I have shaped the carapaces and added some plasti-card ready to add some Green stuff to make the armour look smooth & segmented. Theres gonna be another 4 of these guys too.

 

Also I have 3 of the Ogryns ready for paint (fourth one is almost ready)

Amazing conversions! Your plasticard work is top-notch. Really nice to see some of the old WHFB ghouls, too - always had a soft spot for those minis.

This thread is amazing! When I first saw the new Daemon Engines I thought your minis would make perfect 'counts as.' Are you still planing to use the DE rules or are you going to use the new Chaos codex? I assume you'll still use the DE codex, maybe with some forge/maulerfiend alies :P

The Daemon Engines look fantastic, and I am very tempted to steal the flayerkin design.

for my Minions, I will either use the DE or Daemon codex (check out the first page) so basiclly overall I will have my main IW force with Allies using rules from either 1 of the codecies (maybe both in apoc games)

 

I'm leaning towards using an IW force with 2-3 Forgefiends plus a count as Tzeentch/Khorne daemon ally force with a Soul Grinder so loads of nasty big shooty things!Anyways, lets see what the new chaos dex brings, so excitied :D
