My camera is currently dead (2 year old and dog's water dish = oops), but the models are currently in a built, cleaned, and based status and about to be primed. The following will complete the squad (Marines only, no bases): -assemble missile launcher Marine, prime, and base coat block colors on armor - Complete - 11/23 -correct plasma gunner's pauldrons (they are currently reversed, one has come off) - Completed -destroy any mold lines found - Completed - 11/10 -repaint all gold icons on bolters to brass - Completed - 11/14 -all Marines need Chapter colors corrected - Completed - 11/23 -company markings and campaign/task force markings- Completed - 11/25 -squad markings - Completed - 11/27 -honor markings - Completed - 11/28 -edge highlights - Completed - 12/2 This will complete all the miniatures (no, the bases won't be done on any of them) to spec. Power didn't get restored until yesterday, and our internet came back this morning. You really have no idea how much you appreciate electricity until it's taken away from you. On top of that, I also am a Police Officer in the NYPD, so I ended up working 12 days straight due to the devastation in the area; most days were at least a 12 hour shift, often times a lot longer. I fully intend on completing my October vow and pledging a new vow for November, but that might have to wait until next week. My penance must be done: redeeming myself in the eyes of the Frater is very important to me. From what I've seen so far, you guys have done some truly amazing work. I look forward to seeing more images from you guys to get my motivation going again. As it stands right now, I need to recover mentally and physically before attempting anything else. Bro Kovash, I am truly sorry to hear that. here inMelbourne Victoria we have in the years gone had one major disruption to piped gas following an explosion in one of the refineries (most homes' water heating, ducted heating and stoves are run on gas) so we had great fun.... and thena couple of real hot summers where the grid was overloaded by all the aircons and ended up with 3-4 days of no electricity... even more exciting!! :D I can feel yuor pain... atleast your home wasn't damaged... and your models are all preserved!! :) Take your time...there are always ways and means of back-earning the white pearls... in your own time. I bought one from an online store and it was a real pain setting it. I overlapped three parallel universes and had to take care of three times the real life issues than normal. Does your camera have multiple picture taking settings? If it does see if it has a macro setting, it should look like a flower, like this. Put it on that setting and try to take a picture.
