Not sure what you are on about. I like the battle worn effect on the dozer blade...but a goaty? ;) ;) but what matters is that you finished!! Well done!

 

VOW finished, it is in post 640 on page 27. ^_^

 

Well done also sviar, crisp paint job. I appreciate the different take on the back banner... makes the model stand out nicely.

Sorry for such a late vow, just moved to a house and only got internet today.

I, Brother Moridius, vow to paint a Dark Angels 5 Man tactical squad with a flamer worth 95 points. Current status:

I have to paint the Vet Sergeants robes bone, finish his banner and give a couple of them Chapter Icons on their pauldrons.

November vow done! Sad how long it took me to paint robes and some arrows...

I, Cactus, vow to re-base and jazz up my Interrogator-Chaplain before the end of November. I got a bit carried away and already stripped the static grass from the base before I remembered to take a photo.

Update 25/11/12 - Vow complete

 

The photos are rubbish but you get the idea. As well as the servo skull and back icon I've added more purity seals. Can you believe the original model only had two?! I also scraped off the transfer I'd used for the right shoulder and free-handed the Deathwing logo with a bit more detail than the rank and file models get.

Is this subtly critizising my painting speed ;)? Haha it's definitely well deserved if that is the case, and yes I do (assuming bend of the month means end?) :P

 

Luckily I'm completely clueless as to how one paints tanks, so I just tried something quick and easy, and it looks good! Done with the grey areas already :D

If you complete both in November and also undertake a small special redemption task in December you can win back the October Pearl along with the November one. Alternatively you can elect to complete the special task in November if you manage to finish the two oaths in time. Looking forward to more pearls on your sig!! ;)

Welcome Frejdruk, nie entry. as for the banner, just copy the url of the relevant banner which you will on the very first post of this thread, then go to "my controls" right hand upper corner of the screen where you can add the banner to yuor sugnature.

later in the month than i'd like and still not sure when i'm going to get the chance to do this but ive moved house now (still unpacking) and have access to my 40k stuff and paints. so i should be able to find a few hours here and there.

i vow to finish painting this guy up as a counts as belial 130pts (one on the left, right is my old deathwing army)

he might get demoted at some point later as i'm fickle like that.

this will be for my AoV force that i'm putting togther however i dont like the pure back terminators so am playing around with the scheme. tat or the bon denotes his rank in the inner circle/as part of the unforgiven

Hah! No pity for you! I'm currently at my mother-in-law's house (November vow rushed out before I came), moving out of my current house in mid-December, and moving into an apartment in Tokyo in mid-January! December's vow should be do-able via your "find a few hours here and there" method...but I don't know if I'll get my household goods, let alone unpack enough to paint, by the end of January...therefore, I claim, ahem....wait for it....

Thanks SG. I just finished the interrogator-chaplain but he's packed away now for tomorrow's game. Photo update to follow over the weekend. If I go crazy with the black wash tomorrow night I could possibly complete October's vow in time.
