Hopefully it will distract me long enough to figure out a way to salvage my first one. I also need a third vow, and to be able to complete them all by Friday, while I'm sick with Thansgiving Crud. Actually SG has devised a system where if you fail in one month there are ways to redeem yourself and earn back your lost white pearl in future months - or even more than one! Fantastic no? ;) Check out post 763 on p. 31 of this topic - you will find it most enlightning! I consider failing a month on purpose, just to take adantage of this new sustem! This was a great challenge! I like the new Redemption colour scheme. Decided Purple Cape was too much on the Master and opted for a nice dark grey. I Darkangeldentist vow to paint the Dark Vengeance Ravenwing bike squad and one space hulk terminator converted to a member of the Deathwing. All models started in a completely unprepared state. Ok...vow made, time to sit down and get painting. (Believe it or not the path to redemption has got me painting a lot more...it just happens to be for lots of different things and not just Dark angels.) Below is a picture of a tac squad I've been using for Kill-Team games. Its been a while since we've played at my LGS so they've remained mostly done unfinished but I vow to finish painting them by adding tactical symbols, wings on the chapter symbol & giving them eyes as well as any other touch ups and I will post them by tomorrow before midnight (it's 3:30 local ATM.) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/trex238/2012-11-29140125.jpg Success! I don't like the quality I ended up with and going over the minis right now, I just found a couple of mold lines I ended up missing. It just isn't up to snuff for me. On a more positive note, Life got in my way this month, hopefully for the better, so while it was a painting distraction, I'm pretty sure I'll be pleased. Mebee next month.
