What the heck, I have a few spare days before Christmas so I am going to vow again.

I Bunta vow to base, to a non horrific standard, the following.

DV Tactical Squad

DV Deathwing Squad

DV Ravenwing Squad

and good ole Librarian Turmiel, I will also fix his belt.

I realised in looking at the pics that one Tac Marine dude had grey ALL over him but my stuff is all packed away in readiness for road tripping tomorrow

Also the bits of sprue I painted to look like rusted steel girders look much more metal like in real life, I really struggled to capture it on film. Any way here they are!

Malus_Trux and Bunta, your spirit in making additional oaths is very commendable. I would suggest that you consider the possibility of making those additional oath in to specific oaths for one of the previous months and when completed along with a special task that will be assigned to you, will make you eliible for an additional White Pearl for a previous month.

 

Making this vow early, as my internet is a bit wacky, plus I'm going on vacation pretty soon. Hope this is alright.

Do you have any idea how mny Interrogator CHaplains have been painted up ready for you? :) Welcome 1000heathens, but one of the few specific stipulations is that your oaths are Codex/FW legal from the Dark Angels Codex...so unless your Elucidax the Keeper is made from the DA odex he won't be acceptable.... I shall wait to hear before I add you to the list of oaths...

Sounds good indeed... as long as the oaths keep to legal Codex DA units... you can call them whatever you want .. :P I shall add your oath to the December List of Oaths and wait with bated breath to see the Fallen Warband.. :) Thanks you for joining, the stay in Chamber 42 is complimentary... :) :)

 

However i noticed that in your true fallen sneaky way you have made the oath to end at the end of January. If you vow now, you must complete nby the end of December. If not you must wait till January to make the oath.... think we have enough mind numbing rules and regulations paralyse your rebellious fallen brain? :P

After defeating sneak attack from Real Life, here is my vow for December.

I did some Company Veterans, mainly just because I coud and have some spare bits - theye were not really made for playing. I made ten, but as I will not have much painting time, just five of them will have to do for now.

I vow to finish 5 Comany Veterans, one with twin LC, one with Storm Shield, one with power sword, one wish storm bolter and one with melta gun, for a total of 170pts.

Here are the Deathwing's newest inductees...

Composed of a Deathwing Sgt, Deathwing CML armed heavy weapon specialist, and three tactical Deathwing members. (point Value 235)

Sgt is from DV box.

CML is from DV Box, with a SH Arm, and CML from the standard TDA set.

One Tactical member is from DV box.

Two tacticals are use SH Bodies, and a Arm from the DV Box.

Excellent sentiments Hidicul which is why the veterans are so valued as they, like you, have constantly encouraged the new comers and any that stumble along their way. Unfortunately, the subsequent oaths do not count towards completion rates, only the original oath counts. But, if a subsequent oath is incomplete at the end of the month, then the original oath is also null and void. You could make the oath towards one of h preivous months you had missed...but you haven't. You have steadfastly completed your oaths each month.... but I don't care... i just want you all to convert, make models, paint, repaint and reconvert madly!! :P

well done to all those who have already completed this month! particularly enjoying peoples takes on succesors through the course of this event though the 'regular' DA are exceptional too

 

i started preping my models last night so should hopefully get something done over the next couple of days. 3 AoBR marines with filed down pads inc. missile launcher and two standard tactical marines made up ready to paint

So when I got my Ravenwing battle force, I started putting together the Land Speeder, but the top half was warped so bad that not even insta set would hold it in its proper place. I got frustrated and gave up. Now its been sitting on my work table for about 4 months staring at me. I've decided to finish it up and after some trial and error, I think with some paRint it will work. I vow to paint one Land Speeder for a Ravenwing Support Squadron equiped with an assualt cannon and the option to take either a heavy bolter or a multi-melta for 100 points.

All oaths have to be completed in the month you make it..so a September oath now will be expected to be finished by 31st December 2012. I have listed your october oath as complete and placed the surprise task for locking in your october pearl.....

Well now that finals are over, work is settling down and I spent points to upgraded my Girlfriend to a fiancée I now have time to make a vow. Hopefully I can get this done B)

 

First off my September Vow: I elphilo vow to paint one Deathwing Terminator Squad with Standard Bearer and Apothecary. All equipped with Thunder Hammer and Storm Shields for 270 points.

December Vow: I elphilo vow to paint one Belial Master of the Deathwing with Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield for 130 points.

Belial is also magnetized, but once again I won't have enough time to paint all of his arms. I'll just have to do them all at a later date.

 

Looks like I've got a lot of work ahead of me and a little over a week left, I better get cracking!

I didn't submit these to The Librarium Painting Challenge because they were essentially done when it opened and I couldn't really have taken 2 WIP pictures :D . I have finished converting my January Vow and do plan to put them in the Challenge, so I will help represent the Dark Angels :wub:
