Legion of the Dead Assault Squads

I have been collecting Space Marines since 1988 and know that some of my weapon combinations fitted aren't allowed, but I don't care. I never game with them. I enjoy the making and converting of space marine models instead. Since my son was born 2 years ago (with another on the way) I don't get enough daylight hours to paint anything (last painted something 2+ years ago). Nevermind, I'll just have to console myself to making and converting. Hope you enjoy. Comments would be grateful. Thanks, Brother Morgan.

Well, looks like a beautifully, oldschool Army.

I'm just missing more detailed basing and highlights.

But overall it works great with all the conversions.

Very nice looking figures. I love the old school stuff and use it in my armies a lot. Is this a DIY chapter or did you mean Legion of the Damned?

Hi st. germaine, in response to your question, my chapter is based on the Legion of the Damned (ie black armour, skulls and flames) but due to their high PV, I've changed their name and created a brother chapter instead.

I love these. Very crisp, clean lines, very nice poses, very striking designs. Also has an awesome old-school feel to them. I LOVE the old speeders.
