Well, The Battle for the Underhive (Battle 13) was a few weeks after the Battle for the Mid-hive and the Nex Spensa, so she was not with Amorphous any more, and Smith was taking over the ground command briefing for her, so she wasn't with him either. Looking at the intro story for Battle 13, we can see that: QUOTE "... General Frost has landed troops and is currently working her Imperial Guard Battalions overtime to fully secure Hive Secundus. – Also known as The Icicle." So Storm was at Hive Secundus with a large portion of her Guard force, leaving her some 80140 km away from Hive Primus, when Battle 13 was fought. Oh and remember that not all of Primus was damaged. It was primeraly the underhive and some of the lower hive that took the brunt of the damage. A couple of hive towers collapsed and the rest of the hive was left shaken from the tremors, but the Hive is still very much intact and in the possession of the Imperials. – After all, so far the Imperial side is leading the AoD. Well it seems that I am going to be a day or two delayed; again...
So far I've been trying to focus on creating an integrated Battle 5 and Round 1 story; but with so many months of ideas and notes on post-its, my iTouch, and two computers, Im finding that sorting through it all to make a seamless story that will set the tone for the AoD in round two, is taking a lot more time than originally anticipated. So instead, I will be putting the finishing touches on TDA's Battle 5 story tomorrow and wait one more week before the end story is posted up. That means Battle 5 will be up Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. – Again: Sorry about the delay! CMG -------------------- |

Well, it seems I have vastly under estimated the scope of this story and the research that I've needed to make to conclude it.
That topped by RL issues getting in the way and we have a recipy for a looong wait. Still, the story is close to conclusion and though late as usual, Ive now finally decided to divide the thing into three parts. My guess is that it will be better this way anyway as it may get a bit long for most people to swallow otherwise. Anyway, this first part was written by TheDarkApostle, edited and suplemented by myself. Give great credit to TDA, for it is well deserved!
