Unfortunately the flash on the camera has washed out some of the colour, its actually a bit darker than this, but hey. I'm happy with the result, might make it more grey as opposed to blue but i'll have to paint another tester before i decide. C+C welcome, don't hold back, just focus on the colour scheme. Trajan Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Looking good, Stinkenheim. The one thing i would change is the Grey hunter´s red part of the pack marking. stinkenheim Posted November 6, 2008 Author Share Posted November 6, 2008 yeah the red will be slightly brighter on the finished models, but i want the whole thing be quite muted still... i'm working on a few other testers and i'll post them as soon as they are finished... i did do this at 1 this morning and by the time i had got to the pads i wanted sleep more than a nice deep red :tu:. and once i've decided on my lords symbol, i'll be painting it on the yellow pad. what do you guys make of the rune on the knee and bolter hand. Was aiming for a feel of it being scored into the armour, without ctuall having to green stuff it in... tried to have a darker version of the basecoat with higlights around the edge... any idea on ways to improve it?
