BOBMAKENZIE Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 So it appears I've signed up with the three funny companies of Blood Angels based Chapters...oh well. I've got most of the terminator work done. Just gotta do the sergeant's sword and skin and then blue details on the whole squad. I've been working a bit to and fro for a week or two (should probably put up a WIP as well) and I've almost come a quarter of the way with my LPC. I agree though, the scouts look a bit out of place :D Are you going to paint the first DCs eyes blue as well? And what is he holding in his hands? One's a giant mace, but what's the other thing? The Finished Death Company have got more or less that treatment but the pictures arent all that good. Nice work; one day's work? I did the Termies in about a day, and got started on the scouts then I got distracted for abit and then go started and did all the death company on the day. The DC is holding an Axe in one hand, Mace in the other. Im not planning on basing at least beyond just painting the bases black as Im not entirely sure how I want to base my army so I've been trying to avoid it. Finally I have a pic of the scouts together...I had planned initially on having it themed as a city fight Imperial Fists squad, 2 Shotgunners for clearing Buildings. The power weapon Sarge, a Demo expert and then an Overwatch Sniper/Heavy Bolter Scout. Unfortunately making the fire support Scout work was beyond me, so for now I've got a 5 man Building Clearing squad, 3 Sweepers, 1 Sarge and the Demo Expert (Hucking a Few sticks of Dynamite!) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/Bobmakenzie/BA/ScoutWIP.jpg As you can see I've only got 2 Done, and 1 Started...So I'm going to see about painting em together Tonight..Hopefully I'll get them mostly done before gaming towmorrow then I can finish them off on Friday. I really like the robes on the DC though, solid idea. It is shiny, though not nearly as shiny as it seems there, I think its just the flash from the camera making it look more shiny then it is. (I rather like Alittle shiny ness on my models though) The Scouts are yellow cause for what ever reason I decided to make em Imperial Fists. Bit too late to go back on that now...mainly cause Im lazy... But oh well.
