KYR GKIKAS Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 finaly i bought a new camera and i can join the rest of my brothers to their vows.So my vow is about 20 blood claws. Right but my first 10 models came out with bolters , yes bolters .I didnt read the codex right and the blood claws doesnt get a bolter so i am back to model count 0. stinkenheim Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 you've got some really nice looking models there, my only crit would be that maybe the highlighting on the yellow is a bit too stark, maybe adding a more inbetween stage to the highlight would look much smoother. having said that its up to you, i'd be happy to game with them now so its just a minor crit. KYR GKIKAS Posted February 15, 2009 Author Share Posted February 15, 2009 Well becouse some brothers requested a Tutorial about the Space wolves i prepared one.Please bear with my mistakes becouse is my first one. stage one:Overbrush the armour with 2-3 coats of Shandow Grey over a Chaos Black undercoat.Then paint the shoulder guards with multible layers of Golden Yellow and Scab Red.Yes i know the yellow is a pain to paint but....you will got the following result http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/acer9/stage1.jpg Stage two:Then with a fine detail brush do the blacklining with a watered down chaos black dont worry for mistakes you can always paint any with shandow grey later... http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/acer9/stage3.jpg Stage three:Time for some more lining paint Ice Blue on the very edges of the model.Again every mistake is corrected with Shandow Grey http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/acer9/stage4.jpg Stage four:Paint every metalic part of the model with Cainmail and the wolf pendat Bestial Brown and then wash those parts with Babad Black your model will look like that....maybe http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/acer9/stage5.jpg Stage five:paint the eyes with a couple of coats of Blood Red,Highlight the pendat with Bleached Bone the Yellow with a fine line of Skull White and the red with coats of Blood Red.Paint the rune of the red shoulder guard with Astronomical Grey.Highlight the edges of the black parts with 1/2 Black and 1/2 Grey http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/acer9/stage6.jpg Finaly :paint the rune with Golden Yellow and highlight the very edges of black parts with pure Codex Grey......Soooo? http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/acer9/stage7.jpg Well not so borring i hope.I promise to make a tutorial about the blue blades in the week.Thanks for looking Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
