First up is newly completed captain. Thantoes Posted April 25, 2009 Author Share Posted April 25, 2009 Its a Chaos Knight helmet with the horns shaved off and a Dire Avenger Exarch plume. The torso is a forgeworld Red Scorpion Vanguard torso. Standard Commander Legs with Terminator "crotch plates" glued to the sides of the thighs as well as a somewhat awkward attempt at a greenstuffed cloak. Shoulder pads are old metal pads that I picked up off the internet somewhere. Here is my "Counts as Lysander" so I guess he would be considered Captain Agemman. I have previously posted this before but that was with the standard powersword and s/bolter. May I ask are the Vanguard not part of the main army as they have different basing to the rest? The majority of my minis are based on sand and grass. I changed the base colour on the vanguard as they are all standing on rubble. I just thought that it would look weird for chunks of concrete to be sitting out on the grass. @Marshall2 Crusaders - They are indeed. They are a little out of proportion to normal marine heads (I think this one looks like an egg) but they are very nice otherwise. He is about my most converted mini yet. Torso from the Masters of the Chapter box (the master of recruits body) Sword from GKT. Plastic arms from various places.
