You could do it the same way as the humanized hand. Carefully cut the four toes off and rearrange them to resemble the Forgeworld dreads.

I did that with a robot construct of mine.

Linky-Dink

You can see it on its rear feet (pictures don't show it too well but maybe you can see it ^^)

The right arm (what's it gonna be?) looks a bit too big and makes the whole thing a bit heavy to the side.

Also I'm not too sure about the Defiler head on the Sarcophagus. I've always thought that it is a tad too wide for a Dread. But then again, I am a fan of dreads with small heads ^^

*UPDATE 9/10/09

been a little busy of late with real world stuff but heres a little progress update started to paint the dreads base the bike will be painted up in night lords colours as this is the scheme of my chaos army.

feet have been altered now kinda looks like the forge world one(KINDA) thanks to cathar again

also lights are working great i have even add a chin mounted search light.

also adjusted dreads pose so he doesnt look like he is gonna topple over

the hand now has 5 fingers instead of 4 and will have a under slung heavy flamer other weapons will be magnetized so i can change them about per game.

c+c welcomed

Looking impressive indeed - the LED's are a nice touch and 3 Heavy Bolters? No wonder the thing needs the ammo belt from Hell!

You say you did this on an AoBR Dread? If so, where did you cut to reposition the body and legs? Mine is so horribly static....

From where did you get the ammo belt?

i took the ammo belts from a cheap army toy set that cost a £1 not sure whats it called though ;)

lol it has a twin-linked HB the dragon headed barrel next to it is where the laser pointer is. As for losing the static pose for the waist section i cut just as the round waist section joins to the dreads main body

the legs are easy to reposition firstly cut of the leg at the circle end not waist then chop off the legs from the bottom of the round hip. you can now reposition the hips and leg as you like. il get some wip shots of the legs up asap
