Termie's LPC

Recommended Posts

I, Terminatorinhell, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least one squad of ten tactical battle brothers, a Vindicator and 3 bikes on or before the 31st of March, 2010. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done.

Okay so I have 10 marines, 3 bikes and a vindicator to do, Pics will come Thursday.

Said with the voice of Rob Schneider; "You can do it!"

The fully painted serg might prove a problem though, had it been less than 50% when pledged you would have been fine ( that's how it's with my captain ).

Don't you have another sergeant built, or in the making?

Well, a moderator said it wasn't worth mentioning that the sergeant was painted, but if more people adress this as a problem I can always make a surrogate, but what would I do with him once I finish the LPC?

Damn I see someone pulling away with their vow! Looking good, though I'm waiting for some work on their bases as well ;)

And more light! :)

I like the hooded knife-auspex one, good feeling to him.

Well most depends on what theme you want for the army. Desert, snow, rock, grass etc etc.

Just adding gravel/sand wthout painting it is possible, but I think it tends to look really unfinished ( depending a bit on what sand you use ). You can go with only a layer of grass or snow, that's easy, but will look a tad simple. I go with gravel, that I then brush up with a few layers, and it's a simple / quick way of doing it, that I'm happy with.

On larger bases such as termnators etc you can always just throw on some random bits (CoD, tank parts etc) to add a little flavor. But just adding a little snow or grass to a gravel base will really put some Omph! in it ^_^

truth be told I don't know what to do with the bases, I mean I can just use a basing kit's gravel but whould I really need to paint over it?

You should take a look at this site Bud Micro Art Studio. You can also find thier stuff on e-bay pretty easy. Just bought a few myself for when I start Blood Angels. Worth a look for sure.
