Here is my 1st WIP. I was actually at this stage a couple weeks ago, finally found to time to post the pics.

I had to cut off the hand holding the bolt pistol from a chainsword wielding arm.

The Landspeeder is magnetized to allow different weapon loadouts and to easily rotate and detach from the stand.

Well there isn't a huge amount to comment on as there isn't alot in the way of conversions and they're not yet painted.

 

 

I do quite like the meltagun marine as i'm very keen on the odd 2/3 models in a tactical squad sporting their bolt pistols, it gives a little variety.

Sorry no pics with this update. I have been working on painting the models, just doing finishing touches now. I want to say that putting boltgun metal within the gaps of the wings adds so much color to the otherwise bland chaos black with drybrushed charadon granite.

i like the pose for the marine, looking forward to seeing more.

 

its always nice to see some iron hands, one chapter that has so much potential yet GW choose to almost completly ignore it.

Alright, these two are now painted. I really like the amount of color the boltgun metal crevices add to the wings. The 'bumper' being blue adds enough color to the otherwise drab vehicle without being overpowering. The marine's shoulder pads are boltgun metal with a deep wash of devlan mud and some badab black. the trim and hands were done with mithril silver.

I am open for artistic suggestions. I am currently working on building a Venerable Dread and trying to decide the placement of colors to match the rest of my army.

And yes, that is box with a list of beers behind the models.
