now from the description in the codex I assume the official model will look something like a baby thunderhawk, however i wanted something that was more ship than aircraft and this is what ive come up with. Now its only about 90% complete and i still have to fabricate some of the weaponry (ive got magnets embedded in the cheeks and in the engine pods right under the gray dot for the weapon mounts) and the air intakes are atrocious and need to be redone but i think its come together rather well.

Awseome, I was also reminded of the hunter killers from the first terminator.

The main problem with the air intake I can think of is the vent bits (i.e the plasticard bits that go across) are angled the same way as the engine bit. If they were parralel to the ground I think it would work much better. Maybe just a bit up.

Also the Assault cannons just look too small, Maybe use spare ven dread ones or spare crusader bitz pack ones? They are the equal biggest in my experience.

Also a scale shot of a normal tac or assault marine please ^_^ Also at the end make sure to add all the censor stuff to it (at the moment the gunners are going to have a very hard time)

Thanks for the feedback, yeah i do plan on finding some camera bits somewhere and slaping them on there, and i guess it wasnt clear from the first batch of the photos but the assault cannons i used are actually bigger than the standard gw ones (as demonstrated by the dred arm).

well a dread almost fits in the front compartment, I would have been more accommodating but i figured the ship was big enough so id just fudge it (although i have though about converting a dread that looks like its arms fold up to fit inside) btw I havent shown it yet but i cut out a section in the back, so there are rear doors, so i guess that whole front section could belong to the dread

It was at Games Day so definately a FW WIP. However I believe it was for release with the new IA 8 which will include the Raven Guard. It was far too small in RL to carry a dread unless it was massively scaled up. I believe it may be called the "Storm Eagle" Drop Ship. Although they will have a Raven Guard land speeder variant also.
