It would be a finishing touch if you could add the trail of his names.

All Adeptus Custodes get a name for everything they do. It would be cool to have a little free hand trailing inside of his armour.

Love the model, great kitbash and conversion!

May I ask where you got the backpack from?

I really like the gold armour, but I have to agree with Barry, that a bit more attention to the cape would make this figure really awesome!

Got any more custodes planned?

Sincerely,

Painkiller

Thanks to all of you guys!

I know of the traditon of the Custodes and their many many names (being a pre-heresy fanatic and all ;) ) but considering that i have to paint 3000 pts of Blood Angels by September for the TF Scouring weekend, the cape will have to do.For now at least...

Painkiller,The cape and backpack are from the old 2nd edition metal captain. The bit on top is a brutally chopped up Sanguinary Guard helmet.

Skirax,The spear made using the power axe from the Sanguinary Guard box,a normal bolter with the back part cut off where the casing starts and the blade part of the Chaos Terminator Reaper Autocannon. The scope is from the Tactical squad sprue. Finally, the little halo/start on the back of the spear is from the Fanstasy Chaos Knights sprue(from the mace arm i think).

Wolf Lord Mjolnir, :P

I do have plans for 3 or 4 Custodes Cataphracti Terminators to accompany Lord Valdor to battle...

Cheers! B)

Great paintjob. The haircut is not fitting at all, and the weapon is to large, but otherwise a fine job.

If Youve seen the artwork for Valdor, he does have a mohawk pretty much exactly like this head, without some greenstuff this head is pretty much perfect for him

Here's the proof:

Granted he isn't exact, but he's damn close. Now I too wanna make a band of Custodies. My reason: for the sheer hell of it.

If any branch of GW was to make the Custodies it'd better be Forge World. Only they can give them the proper respect the deserve.

Ohh Likey! nice conversion!

Now for a question that blade on the staff bolter thingie... where is it from? I have seen it used or something like on quite a few conversions here, but I cannot place where it is from, cause I wants to use such myself for a few heretic conversions of a chaosy nature.

damn, people are critical.

I think its awesome. made any other custodes?

well, people can only improve if they get constructive criticisms.

just saying "OMG it is Awesome!!!"

doesn't help them much except maybe to fan their ego.

i personally would prefer people giving critiques and constructive criticisms on how to improve on something rather than people just saying that what i did was perfect
