sword brethren Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 so the year has come and gone and a new LPC has begun and i have gotten off to a flying start which may lead to me adding more to my vow. i pledged a chaplain, 6 sternguard and a rhino to transport them. and between working on a forensic toxicology report and eating sandwiches i have had time to do alot of painting. this is the rhino yesterday morning... i added extra armour, a customised storm bolter and a chaos plough ... and the chaplain was converted from a old mini i found from when i first started, i stripped the paint and decided to take a picture of the whole process. so thats my first update and everything i have done so far since joining the LPC and depending on the way my sternguard go there may be more than my pledge suggests. this thread will be linked to my army thread when im done to save my posting all the pics again there. thanks for looking :lol: SB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for the mini, as much as I loath to cut up old models that may or may not be hard to come by (if memory serves that was a limited edition captain, albeit limited could be common in some of GW's models), I really like what you did with it. sword brethren Posted January 24, 2011 Author Share Posted January 24, 2011 thanks guys :o ok i have been at uni getting back into the swing of not waking up at 3 in the afternoon and waking up early has provided some painting. so thats the sergeant done, just the 5 others to go. once again i was flumuxed by the eyes AGAIN. i have lined up a load of spare bare heads and i will be practicing non stop until my next bare headed mini. started another sternguard who i hope to have done in the next 2 days or so. thanks for looking SB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sword brethren Posted January 31, 2011 Author Share Posted January 31, 2011 thanks guys :P its wearing power armour and shooting a bolter... it wouldn't bore me no matter what the colour. it just so happens the iron warriors wear Iron coloured armour and i wanted a knight like chapter with this scheme. when i choose my next army im likely to do a biker force so maybe white scars, that will be different. sword brethren Posted March 26, 2011 Author Share Posted March 26, 2011 its definatly been a while... uni work hit me ten fold and i literally fled the B&C for some time. fortunatly i remembered 3 days ago i joined the LPC and i had a huge painting rave. this is the final result, i completed my vow! group shots the three i just finished i also thought i would add some battle damage to these hardened vets, so here is some of the damage i added. so, now i can go back to my uni work, see you in the summer B&C!
