EDIT: Btw, why do I have whitish splotches on my marine's legs from their devlan mud washes? what causes that?

Loth is 95% done, I just need help deciding what to do with is axe (should I put energy on it) and what his axe wrap color should be. I experimented with a bit of lighting and I think I got a basic rig down (just white paper) but my desk lamp isn't bright enough :/

Hey guys

So I hit a bit of a landmine, normally its a minor annoyance but after happening about 10 times I'm starting to get a bit irate. How do I unclog a clogged spraypaint nozzle? I use Krylon paints with the swiveling nozzle if that helps out. I tried soaking the nozzle in mineral oils, simple green, alcohol then scrubbing it but it still doesn't unclog. I mean I must have wasted at least $40 of spraypaint... is there anyway to save these? (I also do purge the valve by spraying upside down until the propellant comes out after the bit of paint left in the nozzle).

EDIT: I'm also adding a sergean (who was already painted, but I can make a new one) and I lost marine so I have to make another one :/

Well... I tried extreme highlighting and I have mixed feelings about the result, do you guys prefer it with or without the highlights, i also added more value to the black (black is only in recesses) the rest is codex+black.

Theyre a bit dark but bear with me its kinda late <_<

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally got started on my Land raider, just blocking the basic colors, it will have white accents and the frag launchers will be white too, I didn't glue the shields for the guns on because I need to figure out a way to make them switchable to the hurricane bolters.

EDIT: the gaps are because the tank's top and sides are not glued together yet ;)
