Now I've never liked the idea of stealthy infiltrator units being kitted out in bright red carapace armour so I went for a more camo-type look. I've gone with drab colours so they look like sneaky gits. It also lets me test out my colour ideas for a future force of Raptors I have in mind. Anyhoo they're WiP and I've only started the sarge. I thought the cadian and scout sprues go together quite well too, excellent for Storm Troopers or Vets in an IG I reckon. I got another photo of another scout. Not alot of detail unfortunately due to the light but I'll try and sort that later on. This guy has all the squads equipment like a radio unit rifle rounds and mines. Tho you cant see them very well. I agree, scouts should be exempt from the 'camouflage is the color of fear' doctrine and should at least be muted if not full camo. The first one almost looks too cadian to me-- I think it's the arms without gauntlets. I really like the head on the second one, and the paint scheme on both looks good. Add my voice that the first one looks VERY Cadian, but as you said your fond of him so thats all that matters. Rob_Loken Posted February 10, 2011 Author Share Posted February 10, 2011 I used one of the Night Vision heads but really wanted them to look quite unique and so I used lots of heads from different kits, so I found the Cadian ones, a Masters of the Chapter one and also a Marauder one, just to make them look a bit different to each other.
