Sagngeur's LPC doomkin, and the scions of the dark lion

O mighty chaos gods, I implore thee

Forgive my lateness, and our folly

I pray thee: Imbue us with greatness

And we will plot

Feed our anger

Feel our pride

And bring despair to our enemies

For the dark gods!

Despite me not posting my progress, I have indeed been working on my servants, I swear! I'm at college right now, but I'll post my pictures when I get home, and explain my situation now:

I've finished my Herald of slaanesh, further details of her will follow in the pictures I will post of her. The Daemonettes of Slaanesh have all but been finished, requiring the silver of their jewelry to be painted and inked, nothing more. For the daemonettes I took many steps of painting them, so I'll show the progress in detail, (albeit all at once). I've all but finished the aspiring champion of my chaos space marine squad, he requires only grey highlights on his armour in a few places. The champion is also a vintage chaos model gifted to my by a friend, so I'll thank him immortally on the net now. Finally the chaos space marines have been primed and their arms coloured.

Okay, maybe I lied when I said that I'd post my pictures as soon as I got home. So what? Chaos made me do it!

Either way, I've finished my oath, every last model, and I'm about to upload the pictures. Sit tight!

First up is my herald of Slaanesh as you can see for here for her morning routine: Every Day She Takes A Morning Bath To Wet Her Hair,

Wraps A Towel 'round Her

As She's Heading For The Bedroom Chair,

It's Just Another Day.

Slipping Into Stockings,

Stepping Into Shoes,

Dipping In The Pocket Of Her Raincoat.

It's Just Another Day.

Well except as a daemonette she doesn't wear clothes.

As for the technique she's actually somewhat of a mistake. You see, I was trying to learn how to make inks (none of that wash hog-wash!) so I tested them out on this pretty lady. After a few coats I decided she look fine! I was planning something different for her anyways. Also feature is Mr. Blowhard, the cloud.

The effect on the skin was a series of purple ink washes, and then drybrushing the highlights with a mix of white and liche purple.

Their corsets and leather still counts as clothing. It's as far removed from modesty as possible, but it's clothing nonetheless.

Now that we've started off with pictsures of my not terrible models, I can bring out the crap I made. Purple crap.

Unfortunately my talents failed me on these models, and they did not come out as well as I had hoped, but in the name of learning I gave it a try. By the chaos gods I tried!

I ended up painting the girls about 3 times, restarting after as soon as I finished each time. I stopped as much for satisfaction as I did burn out and wasting time truthfully! I essentially followed the guide on the GW website, but substituted my own colours. I'll refrain from posting my technique as such.

Start off showing off with a freak showing off!

A group shot of the dolls inprogress, the herald could use some (chaos!) space tanning.

What is chaos without big booty witches?

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb195/rok_stoned/P1010267.jpg

In this image months have passed, and the butts have became far more mature (but I haven't!).

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb195/rok_stoned/P1010261-1.jpg

Yes I'm still learning to use the camera! By the way, stay the heck away from these women!

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb195/rok_stoned/P1010263.jpg

And we end with the girls filing past us, onto bloodier pastures!

Now that I got those disgusting failures out of the way, let's go back to the passable models (notice how I didn't say paint jobs? my subconcience is trying to trick me!).

Indeed the most important part of a chaos space marine army is the chaos space marines themselves! So what kind of oath taker would I be if I didn't finish some?

The squad's aspiring champion is quite an old model, gifted to me from a friend who insists I'm chaos filth. It's okay though, he's templar filth and in the fourty-first millenium, there is only filth!

I have to say that I learned the most important thing about painting chaos is you should listen to metal, or grunge at the same time.

Here's a picture of the squad in progress apparently the champion's very needy, and is always pointing at what he wants.

Here's a shot with some pretty (hedonistic) ladies in the background:

A few pictures of the details on the models, I'm very satisfied with the grenades and the leather

I'll end with that group shot, the skull-helmed guy's gunning for me!

In case you cannot see colour, purple is clearly my favourite! :P
