So I just started to build some bloodangels out of the battlebox, sanguinary guard, plastic captian kit, and plastic command squad kit. I also had a random sprew of empire mages for bitz. Here's the first two. I think im done with both but I may add some pieces here an there. And let me just say, that the new, metal Lemartes model is, in my own humble opinion, one of the coolest and most characterful models they have come out with in a long time. And yours stands up to it. Really, a gorgeous conversion. Great job mate! I agree with JamesI. I can't wait to see this stuff painted, and I will be following this thread. This conversion was extremely challenging for me. Im not very good with green stuff yet but Im really happy with the way this turned out. One thing you could look at is where you've joined the two parts together to make Seth's eviscerator, that join will only become more obvious when you apply paint to it. Instant mold from coolmini.com I used part of a DC shoulder pad i think for the mold. Once joined I used GW super thin super glue(the brush on kind) and filled the gap and sanded it down. Its just in the pic you can see all the super glue. Its primed now and you cant tell that its 6 pieces of 3 chainswords. Im mostly thrilled how seth came out I wish I could have done a slightly better job on the handle but oh well. I think its ok enough. i have some Pegasus wings coming in for astorath conversion. I dont have to work after all so im hoping to get another update soon.
