Wow, I'd fight this any day, that would be an amazing sight to see opposing my troops ^_^ Plus it would go with our fluff, since technically your army kicked my Lords of Decay army's ass on Pluto when we invaded Sol.

One criticism: I dont like how the dread's 2 arms are different, the autocannons arent the same model on both arms.

Beautiful job so far. Your gold is quite lovely, but I was wondering if you would mind sharing your red recipe. I'm rather curious how you got the brightl, Imperial Roman look out of it.

Note: It looks like there are a few of us who like those Scibor miniatures.

I cant twig if thats NMM metal on the undercarrage working on the dread legs... help me out? its beautiful..

no NMM, only normal mettalics

Amazing! How are you doing the bases? What material/company [...]

bases are from MicroArt Studio

Wow, incredible shading for the metallics on the dread - mind telling us roughly how you did it? :D

gold recipe:

base:

airbrushed alcohol based vallejo metallic(gold)

thick layer of gryphone sepia GW wash

1 shadow:

more gryphone sepia

2 shadow:

bestial brown GW + black (50/50)

highlights:

mithril silver GW

[...]Where did you get the heads? :)

heads are integral with the rest of the body

[...]I was wondering if you would mind sharing your red recipe. I'm rather curious how you got the brightl, Imperial Roman look out of it.[...]

Red recipe

base: scab red GW + blood red GW (60/40)

shadows: scab + black (70/30)

highlights: blood red+ scab (90/10)

on tanks red was painted with airbrush, on minis was handpainted

5 custodians almost finished (must repaint gem on the shield)

  • 3 weeks later...

Absolutely brilliant effort. I just love how this army turned out.

I'm still collecting some last minute bits and bobs for mine and hope it turns out half as good.

Very inspiring.

Cheers,

Ok, so I won't lie. I would be extremely intimidated playing against an army that looks this impressive. (guess that's the idea in retrospect)

Would it be possible to get some better pictures of the transports?
