Finecast Champion and Terminator Apothecary

After a bit of a break due to moving house Im back to painting and converting again.

First up is my first go at finecast. Im pretty pleased with the results and the detail on the mini. Ive still got to add the damage and fix the blending on the loin cloth.

the sword will come later but I dont know if I should do it like a relic or like the new GK style.

 

Speaking of GK heres my next project which will be an ultra termi Apocthecary

Not sure if I should put a force sword or bolter in his hand. Let me know what you think

If it's purely for art, I'd say go with the melee weapon as it'll look cooler.

 

If it's in game-terms, GK Apothecaries don't get the storm bolter; they get the Force Sword (which they can trade out for a Halberd or Hammer). BA Sanguine Priest/TDA Apothecaries also don't get a storm bolter; they get a Power Sword and no upgrade options at all.

 

Nice paint job. ;) And I dig the way you stuck the servo skull to the guy.

Thats all White-tac by the way on the terminator. Im just trying to get a feel for the positioning. Its for show only so hes going to be all white with Blue ultra pads.

Also DA TDA Apothecaries, from Belails Faux Command Squad Can be ANY WEAPON THEY WANT, from the Tactical TDA and Assault TDA choices. LIghtning claws, TH/SS, Cyclone, Assault Cannon It doesn't matter.
