Captain Semper Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 I, Captain Semper of the Dark Angels, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least 3 Ravenwing bikes, 1 attack bike, 1 drop pod and 1 Deimos Rhino on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done. So it starts... This thread will be the WIP required for the LPC so there will be, ermmm... WIP pics in it! However since my vow aims to complete the first phase of my Consecrators' army the final products will also be posted in my Consecrators thread. the vow contains: 3 bikes - COMPLETED - 31 JAN 2012 1 attack bike - COMPLETED - 21 JAN 2012 1 Rhino (Deimos pattern) - for those that follow my Consecrators thread it will be the transport for Tactical squad 2 - COMPLETED - 09 FEB 2012 1 Drop Pod - the "transport" for the Company Vets - COMPLETED - 11 JAN 2012 So starting from the last one: http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb402/ackool/IMG_0153.jpg More later... :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'll give it another shot but the primer really ruined it for me... (used Humbrol's satin spray). You have managed to do perfect line work on the outside, and I really like the extra detail on the inside trimmings. However given this is part of the vow and the limited time that I have available for painting, I will not scrap it. I really never thought the Humbrol satin black and the GW undercoat black will be so different - to the point that the brush lines show (if you look at it with a naked eye). :tu: Thankfully the pics take the worst part of the contrast away.
