teku Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Last year I started the idea with a Dornian Heresy army. I had the choice between Space Wolves or Blood Angels. Blood Angels one the upper hand. But I'm also expanding my army with Chaos Wolves. So I can create a warband for sure when Chaos Legions comes around! For people to see my full Army pics click here!. I will use this thread as a blog to show you how I redo the army. The main colours will be kept but I'm gonna at here and there a highlight, redo the glowing eyes, make new plague marines and add Rhino/razorback/predator's to the army! Also my Black Templars will get a repaint! But this will be after my Nurgle Angels is complete. 3x 10men squads, death company and my Sanguiary Guard. For both armies I have expanding idea's in my backhead. Even for the Chaos Wolves a box Bloodchrushers are awaiting building. But first things first! First up is my vow: I, Teku of the Dornian Heresy Blood/Nurgle Angels, of the Liber Astartes, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least a 5 men devastor Squad with 4 missile Launchers, 3 Razorbacks and a Sanguinary Priest on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done. And now the pictures! WIP LPC vow 1! The marines for most part, add vehicles and extend it with a Sanguinary Guard troop army. I finished the squad yesterday but I was too tired to take pictures and write something. After seeing Torchwood, Zombieland and a whole other bunch of movies I went to sleep. I did try to paint a powersword properly but failed... My devastator collection is for 95% done. Only have to do the bases!! So repainted my 15 guys for the tournament and have spare time for another 10. Still need to do some infernus pistol and combi melta but that isn't much work! Yeah the Chaos Wolves are my favorite also ;) Well the fluff for the warband is: my count as dante and count as logan grimnar joined forces. So that's why you have Space Wolf dude leading a Blood Angel devastator squad.
