Here is my first WIP update for the LPC. Things are moving well, though the Stormraven needs a lot of work still.

Here is the dreadnought in all its parts:

Next up; A picture of just the torso, still figuring out how to do the wings.

Next is a test pose, I want something really menacing because I'm putting a shredded disemboweled ork on the base.

Here is the interior of the Stormraven, only basecoated:

And finally the Stormraven and all it's bits. I'm thinking about converting the upper turret to a smaller remote turret under the stormraven and magenitizing all the weapon options? Shouldn't be too hard.

Well, I'm up for comments and such, don't be afraid to check out my gallery and good luck to everyone else and your vows.

All right, here is another update. Almost have the dreadnought done. A little detailing here and there, basing, and dull coting and Brother Tiberius shall be fit for battle.

First up, an image of him now, still have to fix the scroll on his front plate.

Then his left and right side.

And the final piece, the sorry ork chap who thought he would take on a loyal servant of the Emperor!

Lexington: I took vomit brown and haphazardly worked it along the edges of the armor plates, after that I painted a 50/50 mix of chaos black and codex grey into the vomit brown, keeping careful to leave an edge of it around the outside. after that I darkened the upper parts of the gouges and such with straight chaos black and finally added a little boltgun metal to a couple of the scratches and dings. I hope that helps, if enough people ask I will throw in a tutorial when I get around to my blasted stormraven. Essentially, it is the one that GW put up on it's website.

Hope that helps

Sorry for the long wait, school and work have me rather busy. But here is the update on the Stormraven. I have converted it to have magnetized turrets that sit under the cargo landing ramp. The idea being that it's there to clear the landing zone of troops, heavy infantry, or even vehicles before disgorging it's deadly passengers.

First up, a rather poor pic of the turret attached:

Next, showing how the turret can rotate 360'

And a better pic showing the attachment for the turret.

And finally a picture of the assault cannon turret. I will also be doing the plasma cannon and lascannon turrets as well.

Hope this inspires you guys in your painting and converting!
