elmo Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 Better late than never - Thanks Captain Semper for the heads up (been away awhile) I, Elmo9141 of the Dark Angels Subforum, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least one 10 man Squad of Assault Marines and a 5 man Squad of Scouts (and maybe a Tactical Squad - but not promising this one ;) ) on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done. elmo Posted January 24, 2012 Author Share Posted January 24, 2012 Thanks guys A small update, unfortunately without pictures as my camera is 200km away at the moment. The plan is to do the Scouts first this week I will be getting them ready for undercoating and I will post pictures to prove I am not just buying them painted from Ebay ;) Sat 28th will be spraying day and then I should be done (less basing) by Fri 3rd so photos should be posted the following weekend. This should give plenty of time for the assault marines ( I am planning on 3 weeks) and 2 weeks for the Tactical squad which means if all goes well my Vow should be complete by 1st week of March. Should have everything but the jetpacks done by next weekend - then jetpacks and startint the Tactical Squad the week after. Isiah - This will be the 2nd Assault squad for my 4th Company - just a Tactical Squad and finish off the Devastator Squads and my foot sloggers will be done. I am "normally" very careful when gluing the bits together so overspill is not usually a problem. Droma - Thanks - yours are looking good too! Should finish the official part of the vow by next weekend and then I will be starting the optional Tactical squad. I am planning to do the 5th Squad as an add on option to my vow and, who knows, I may even manage the other 10 as well :wub: Vehicle wise I need 3 Razorbacks/Rhinos for the Green wing and wish list for 1 or 2 Landraiders..... 4 Bikers, 1 Attack bike to finish off the 3rd Raven wing Squad then I really should call it a day :D Oh and 1 Techmarine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
