Dam13n
My local GW is hosting a mini-GD on the 26th. One of the theme games will be a Lone Wolf challenge, I had some left over SW Termies so decided to have some fun (and try out a different way of painting the grey and yellow armour). http://i352.photobucket.com/albums/r358/MatthewDaunt/SpaceWolvesLoneWolf.jpg Comments welcome. Inquisitor009
Great job! I really like the details on the face and the armor. The snow base looks great too! Looks like you went for a darker grey color? Thanks for sharing!
Dude with a Brush
That dark brown / grey looks great and works with your yellow and that viking look which fits space wolves perfectly! :P Love that base, looks just like something you may see here in Scandinavia :cuss
nurglespuss
Very impressed! He does look really angry ^_^ really clean paint job, and the 'limited' pallet really creates a striking effect ;)

Schultzhoffen
Great effort. I love the dark grey SW armour. The face is particularly well done.
Dam13n
Thanks for the responses. For The Horde - the grey armour was done as follows: - charadon granite - drybrushed with adeptus battle grey - drybrushed with codex grey - drybrushed lightly with fortress grey - drybrushed very lightly with a mix of dheneb stone and ice blue - heavy wash of devlan mud - while the above wash was still wet, washed with scorched brown - when almost dry, washed vermin brown into the recesses - nics and scratches painted with scorched brown - underlined the damage with space wolves grey. - glazed with thinned asurmen blue Done. Laterz all, Dam13n
