My vow is: I, Mad Greek, answer the challenge of the Unforgiven and vow to complete 1 Stormraven with Twin Linked Melta Gun and Lascannons, and Hurricane Bolters; 1 Land Raider Crusader with Multi Melta; 1 Drop Pod; 3 Razor Backs - 1 with Lascannon/Twin Linked Plasma Gun, 1 with Twin Link Assault Cannons, 1 with Twin Linked Lascannons; 1 Rhino; 4 Sanguinary Priests, 2 in TDA, 1 with Jump Pack and Infernus Pistol; and 1 Assault Squad w/jump packs, Sgt upgraded with Power Weapon and Storm Shield; from Codex: Blood Angels of total value 1270 points on or before August 15. Success will bring eternal glory to my as yet unnamed successor chapter to the Blood Angels, and failure will doom me to bear the sign of damnation until the year-end. Captain Semper Posted May 25, 2012 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Hey MadGreek, good to see you joining in - and with such a hefty vow too! :) In order to post pics, one way to do it is to upload them from your computer to an image storage site (such a photobucket for example but there are others) and then link the url of the picture in your post using the image button (the one with the little orange sun on the top part of the B&C editor). I am doing a successor chapter to the Blood Angels using a Greek theme. Main color is Bronze instead of Red. Still have a black Death Company, and Sang Priests are Bone instead of White. The Bronze I use, the one i basecoated all my vehicles in for the previous picture, has been discontinued. I found another Bronze, from a differant company, and, of course, it is not quite the same. Regular Assault Squad - Sgt with Power Sword and Storm Shield http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t371/MDemetris/RAS.jpg http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t371/MDemetris/SgtCloseup2.jpg http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t371/MDemetris/SgtCloseup1.jpg So, in the last 10 days - I cut the power packs off the original models, replaced them with Jump Packs, snapped off the original head swaps I selected, replaced them with NEW head swaps I found, and had to redo the Bronze since the original one was discontinued. The Sgt has parts from 4 different companies. And that is why I NEVER get anything done. Once I settle on Chapter name and Icon his shield will get a logo, and perhaps a name on the shield skirt. The top is just plasticard, hatches glued down. Back frame is cut up sprue material with the old school doors dropped in, and a new Storm Bolter added to the front. I think it came out OK. I'd love to see a comparison to the other models, I can't quite work out the size of it from just itself in the picture. Really liking the DC Land Raider. Nice use of the Sang. The Meltas in front are magnetized so I can swap out to any option there. The canopies are painted with blue transparent glass paint, so you cant really see inside - and I don't have to paint in there, but it still looks like "Glass," feels transparent, and is not just painted solid. I consider it done. That said, I might, in the future, add some red somewhere to break up all the Bronze. Or not. Not sure yet. On the Pod it was easy to pickout panels to do red.
