If we spoke about fluff - Black Library fluff - the armor should be black - preheresy scheme is definetely black. Black is armour of astellan and so on. But the green has been adapder during heresy, also all pictures and even the "fluff" pictures show angels from that time black and green as well. As there is no canon similar to Forgotten Realms or Star Wars, the game and scheme is still up to painters/players likeness - I will prefer them green, with black robes and red company marking. And finaly when Cypher with fellow Fallen attacks the citadel in the Angels of Darkness, they all are green... Also I want my fallen to be band of individualities, some of them embrace Chaos to get revenge, the others are newly fallen, the other is using chaos power as a tool for power and killing the traitorous scum. All of them scavanging the bodies of slain hunters and enemies. Raids Dark Angels fortresses for armor and so on. So they are different, different weapons, different approach. Different fall-to-chaos depths. I will probably personalise the models during the process. And i will see what happen and how they will look. If the Fallen wanted to undermine the efforts of the Dark Angels, and reveal to the world the black scar that the Chapter struggles daily to hide, what better way then to repaint their armor the same green. Hyaenidae Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 If my lore is correct (possible I'm just really tired right now, lol), those Dark Angels who were born on Caliban were allowed to paint one shoulder forest green pre-heresy, in memory of their homeworld. Most of the Fallen seem to be Caliban-born, short of the handful of Terrans who were a part of the training cadre, so I could see them going all out green in memory of their annihilated home. Even though it is not as fast as I want, as 1st Claww nocked at my doors and ask me to finsih them /at least plastic/ on next Patrol tournament (400pts, next saturday). So I have finished (without base) the fallen sergeant. Not enough time to look after names yet, but Raghatiel sounds good... I have decided that I add for my army, not for the contest additional models and now, I have misplaced some models from the original Seven for those I add during the Process. Surely I put a Plasma Gun to different model that I decided on the beginning. The original plan was to use the models in te Combat Patrol - 400pts game, but we planned huge chaos battle with my bro /nick Jiron here/ and I have add models to full squad and with the 6th Arrival now the Chaos Icon guy will be one of my Lords for different games and I will include new bannerman. But not for the contest...
