Scuzzie's Talon Thread

I started this project a long time ago, inspired by the Colonial Viper from BSG. It was on hiatus until last week when I realised I could use the chassis as a talon, and it kinda worked with the talon parts on. Somewhere along the way, I had to find a way to fit the guns in, and remembered the TF Brainstorm, and thus went with the hammerhead design... And no I haven't riveted it yet... and the control panel either...

So without further ado...

And for fun I made the wingtips magnetisable too... Kinda looks nice. Need to do a blank dummy sensor variant...

I don't like that GW have given the SM an air-superiority craft, but since they have, I'd buy your model over the Flying Lunchbox any day of the week. Amazing work, the unacknowledged love-child of a Viper and a Caestus Assault Ram :D

I've always wanted to say that.

always a pleasure to see your stuff madscuzzy though my favorite is still Orktimus Prime!

on this one gun placement is good - it was always going to be difficult to fit the bulk of 40k weapons with the sleek design of the bsg craft, think the lascannons suit the model/theme better than the bolters but having the different options is nice.

are you planning to do a necron/cylon raider to match this

Cracking stuff, but bonus points for getting B&C in to the shots

That and its grants us plebians the slightest glimpse into the world of the Moderati/Administratum group with the hidden forums at the top....

Fantastic creation there tooScuzzy, I always love to check out your work, both artwork and model wise.

Hmmm... someone has sharp eyes. Time for some cleansing...

@lhg033 Thanks... Prime is in a league of his own... whahaha. Anyways, the placement of the weapons were a conundrum... It does break the look of the viper, and leans it more towards Brainstorm... *shrugs* Still... it came out pretty alright.

Well Cylon Raiders are essentially Necron Flyers, so kinda solved IMHO...

Anyways, here are the riveted pictures, with some additional weapon mounts.
