I ask a few friends for ideas but no go they couldn't give any ideas. So one day the wife ask if you should paint them grey/silver and purple. Always thought a green army with purple trims would look quite nice, these have a sort of Gaurdians of the Covenant with a mix of Emperor's children. The paint job looks awesome the purple really goes well with the silver and also the green power weapons are a nice touch. That chaplain on bike is a nice conversion and cant wait to see that Are's pattern painted up, the conversion looks great. The Ares was built for me but my friend put the wrong doors on and couldn't removed them, so I just paint it any way. The Ravenwing Icon is a stand in until I find an artist to help with the icon. There are lots of us out there :) The doors don't look out of place, in fact they add character. One can say that they are sigils of a successful past crusade perhaps. Also, be careful on having too many metallics all together, because it can definitely all get lost due to all the reflections and color bouncing light around. As far as the fabric, the silver and purple both seem relatively bright, so I would definitely do a deep, darker color. Generally yellow is considered complementary to violet, so possibly a deep mustard yellow? Possibly use Averland Sunset, shade with Casandora Yellow, highlight with Averland Sunset again and then use point highlights of Yriel Yellow.
