Finally received them and I ended up with 51 khorne berzerkers, Khârn the betrayer and a fw world eaters dread. Oddly enough, with current rumors this is a great time to start a chaos army. I guess ill have to wait for the new codex to actually get everything layed out better. it looks like i wont have to wait that long for that. arizonajirt Posted November 15, 2012 Author Share Posted November 15, 2012 Call of Chaos V update #1: so for my 1st update of the month, this is a written one only since I am at work, but pictures will follow on sunday. So far all models for the Call of Chaos V have been primed (as seen in the above pictures) and all have recieved the base coat of red. the Warp talons have all recieved the brass and flesh tones for the possessed/daemon parts. I have started the berzerkers and Khârn with the brass. with my work schedule and wife schedule and actually getting to play a game for the first time in 8 months, this last week was very unproductive. my next day(s) off where ill be able to paint is saturday night and sunday. so hopefully ill be able to get more done. for the rest of this posting, outside of the Call of Chaos, my chaos force has expanded like crazy. For those of you that have followed me or know me, I have a thing for doing large armies. My Raven Guard is over 17,100 points so far. as for my world eaters, im sitting over 4,500 points right now. and that is just troops, 1 heldrake and 1 maulerfiend. So far in my box to paint (to include the CoC V models) I have: Khârn, 1 Termie lord 1 sorcerer (yes I know its not world eater/khorne, but i wanted one to paint), The lord from the DV box, the Daemon Prince (finished) 2 dark apostles 1 warpsmith 5 Termies 1 set of DV chosen 1 Helbrute 120 cultists 60 khorne bezerkers 20 Chaos Space Marines 20 Warp Talons 10 Raptors 1 Heldrake 1 Maulerfiend So this will be a fun project. what I am going for in my gaming list is a mostly foot army. I envison the world eaters using the cultist as a meat shield and the the bezerkers would follow behind them and destroy all living creatures. the warp talons are there for deep striking and shread the hell out of the enemy. A friend of mine who is starting his own online hobby shop is making me a huge pile of resin bases. There will be skulls abound. Also with the start of the LPC 2013, ill be adding a nice sized vow as usual. arizonajirt Posted May 10, 2013 Author Share Posted May 10, 2013 well do to never getting a response back on the LPC aboutthe cultist, i didnt add any. so it was not a very productive event for me. and as of late, ive been more focused on my tau and skaven armies. but now thanks to Captain Semper starting the ETL II, I will get to work on my chaos in full force. !!! I will double post in here as well as my ETL II WIP page. I hope with this I will get all of my chaos painted this year. the above hellbrute is still unpainted. so it will definiately be in there.
