Midgard Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 This is a placeholder thread for my participation in Call of Chaos V Challenge, with the intention of painting a Chaos Lord and Helbrute (both from Dark Vengeance set). Don't expect great painting, although I do plan to try a few new techniques, and hopefully make the end result little less embarrassing than my previous attempts at the sons of Lorgar. I have finally found a little time to get the project started, and while I do not expect my Word Bearers to look stunning, they would at least be serviceable enough for tabletop. Mainly using Chaos Black primer, and coating it with Red Gore, while using Boltgun Metal for trim. I tried a few washes (mainly Baal Red and Badab Black), but not sure I liked the results (at least not on Chaos Lord). Pictures coming at some point soon... just don't expect anything amazing.
