And so it begins. I've pledged a unit of counts as 1k sons and a sorcerer, but hopefully I'll be adding more than just that. My warband is an offshoot of the Word Bearers that will be largely MoT and undivided, though I do have a MoK Jugger lord planned. The scheme is deep purple with gold trim and, at least for my two vowed units, a fallen loyalist look. I've got some ready to be primed so I expect I'll posting pictures as soon as it kicks off.

First update! I've got a pictures for my vowed units to share. I was having a hard time not starting on them early and then today I wasn't really feeling it, go figure. Anyways, I did some painting and took some pictures in a hurry (low batteries on the camera) so I apologize for the poor quality.

Here are a few of the Lord I mentioned. Hopefully this is passable as TDA, I had to get pretty creative with this one due to not having any greenstuff or good TDA bits on hand. I'm on the look out for something to replace the right shoulder pad with. You would think I'd be able to find the other obliterator arm and use that shoulder pad but it seems to be lost to the warp. Anyways, he isn't 100% done yet, I just wanted to take some pictures while my camera had battery life. I'll get more up when he's finished.

right pad looks fine. plates might look nicer thicker but i'd say its TDA so no worries. looking forward to seeing more.

Really cool mang, I like the colours, although looks a lot like pre-heresy Emperors Children haha

 

I really think you should lay off the wash a little, you definently look as if you can do things like highlighting, outlining and stuff like that.

 

Very cool conversion work, just remember, don't depend much on the washes.
