OuThere Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Good eve brothers! I've been a long time lurker on BnC and have decided to finally come into the light (not the False Emperor's)! I'm really excited to finally contribute to this community! I'll start off this journey with the Call of Chaos V. My vow is as follows: 1 Chaos Lord in TDA (WB) 1 Chaos Sorceror (WB) 10 Warp Talons (NL) 10 Chosen (May become 20) (NL) Here is the assembled count as Chaos Lord http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/014.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/012.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/013.jpg This huge guy is going to be impersonating either a Grand Apostle of the Word Bearers or a Coryphaus (sp). Haven't quite decided yet, however I LOVE the model. It is defenitely going to be the largest challenge to paint I've ever undertaken. Next up we have 10 generic Warp Talons: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/016.jpg I really liked the idea of infiltrating a group of those badasses with a biomancy Sorceror and just wreck havoc. I've been doing a little work on the sorceror, and I wanted some feedback before continuing. I have build two bodies for him at the moment: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/006.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/007.jpg and http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p93/rgall/008.jpg The former is some chopped up regular chaos legs with a posessed torso. The latter is a Dark Angels Veteran body. So this Sorceror belongs to the Word Bearers, so I really like the idea of the robe, and it doesn't look too bad, however I really like the idea of him just chilling on the step. I'll be adding candles and tomes on the base, so it will be receiving more detail, and I don't want it to be too cluttered. All models will be truescaled, I ordered some awesome shoudlerpads from puppetswar, lots of cool left over raptor bits that'll really fit well with the whole Night Lord theme - especially the meltas (OMG Raptor meltas look so cool) and chainswords.
