Warbringer Posted November 4, 2012 Author Share Posted November 4, 2012 So I wasn't happy with my test model, which i undercoated white, the grey was far too light and more like the highlight colour I was aiming for. So i took a trip to the big smoke and brought myself some halfords grey primer which is pretty amazing, will try the white and black and may move to their plastic primer. I've ordered the Mantic Z Corps set from wayland games @£40 for 80 models you really can't go wrong, Then i'm going to order CSM from GW and Deathguard conversion set from Forgeworld And then hopefully a Forgefiend for Xmas. Its Halfords Grey Primer Straken Green Athonian Camoshade Highlights will be with Nurgling green. smallvictory Posted November 10, 2012 Share Posted November 10, 2012 Nice paint job, really clean (probably not the right word), the only thing missing is a better base, I like you're idea of using necron parts. The only crit I have is the metalic hive cluster things on the upper part of his back and green armor versions on the lower parts, just my opinion though, over all I like it alot.
