Malus Trux Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 5th edition Ultramarines 2nd Company: Composition: Foot Slogging Demi-Company Deployment: 23 wins, 6 draws, 3 losses Result: Campaign Successful 5th edition Blood Angels 9th Company: Composition: High Speed Mechanized Spearhead Deployment: 26 wins, 7 draws, 0 losses Result: Campaign Successful 5th edition Raven Guard Composition: Assault Oriented Strike Force Deployment: 5 wins, 4 draws, 7 losses Result: PENANCE REQUIRED So after two very successful shooting armies I wanted a combat focused one & FW came out with the RG kits so I decided to go with the 19th Chapter. It did not go well. BassWave pointed out a major problem was how weak the RAS in C:SM. After learning how awesome Raven Guard was & how they functioned in fluff I wanted to revisit them properly. With a new C:SM around the corner as well as a rumored supplement, I'm cautiously optimistic & ready to try again. It looks like it focued on the paint pots so I'll try again later. I hope its noticeable that he's just painted a dark color. I also hope that Necron Abyss is a dark blue & not a dark purple.
