Welcome to the Blood Angels Unit of the Week Series!

Following the release of the 9th edition Supplement, there is no better time to discuss all the units we have access to. Each week a different unit will appear, with the idea being that we discuss how best to use that model on the battlefield. Given the plethora of options available to a budding Blood Angels general, the list of units have been separated out into the sections detailed below. These were set out at the start of 8th and have been maintained this way as opposed to, say, by Forge Organisation Chart simply because they are still seen as unique, old, new, legendary and Forge World units. With that in mind, many of these guides have been in service since that edition so if something is a little out of date, feel free to bump and discussed how the tweaks can now get the best out of the unit(s) in question.

Disclaimer: This series isn't to lament any nerfs, etc, from previous editions; the rules are as they are so try to unlock the unit's potential for those who wish to use them all the same. Similarly, these topics is only for using the option being discussed; it matters not if you feel something else is a better choice as such comments aren't constructive to the topic and shall be removed.
