Been enjoying knocking together lists but have really struggled to nail a SW list. Was going to do bloodied claw but just couldn't get it to work so went Armoured breakthrough as I hadn't used that Row yet. The plan is eventually to have 3k for each Legion so trying different things is the plan and usually thier unique Rites but with the wolves I've felt really lost and a little overwhelmed. Reminds me of trying to do a daemons of the ruinstorm list. Anyway the plan is to get this to 2750 of if someone has a great bloodied claw idea. Ok so I was ready to kick back off with the sons of horus but was sent an event in around five months time. I have been slowly accumulating the basis for a nebulous white scars list but haven't ever pulled the trigger. Well it's a 2750 event I'm hoping to attend allowing mournival rules if that matters to people. I'm not using any myself but just if people have any feedback. Thanks mate I’ve modified the list somewhat. I agree if like more troops in also but just not sure where to trim. The obvious place I suppose is Justaerin but i would like to use them as a big mailed glove. I guess I could drop the lightning for another tac squad also but I’m worried about the loss of tank busting and AA it brings

First I’ve heard of that with the RoW and the new red book seems to imply you can take the drop pods with no limitations like it was worded in the faq. Need to look into that

Looking to jump back into heresy with something slightly different then what I’ve done before. I’ve thought about maloghurst being added in there but just wanted to use a fun rite I haven’t used and the new terminator character. After any advice to make it somewhat able to be actually playable and not blown off the field turn one. Haven’t purchased anything yet so have some room to really change it up for the rite. I have found the bike kit one of the slowest and most irritating things to put together for a long time. The kit generally goes together well but it just has these weird issues like the ball joint of the base and shoulder pads that I wonder how it passed quality control

I'm personally after flesh tearers but now pop goes the monkey has been policed I'm just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a similar product? I'm trying to build the dark imperium primaris so obviously the gw shoulder pads don't work and pops single icon symbols would have been great. Unless anyone knows of any easy way to paint the flesh tearers symbol but I haven't heard of anything like that. Anyway any help would be appreciated.

How many units of inceptors were you taking? And how big was the squad size? I was planning on just running a few heavy bolter guys but if the plans is that much better I may head that way

As someone that's been struggling with a pure vostroyan list it's interesting but I really cant see that 6 inch mattering that much honestly. 30 inch plas is nice but compared to the other regiments I'm not sure on why it was selected. Does look good for my death korps that at least some of it is competitive

Something I'm a little unsure on is why the choice between the Sword and the hammer is so cut and dry. Even with the minus one he still hits on a respectable 3 and does a guaranteed three damage. The points cost between them almost seems negligible, and I power levels it wouldn't matter but I feel I'm missing something big

Brilliant idea to truly keep you on the straight and narrow in regard to your own chapter. i) believes every single life in the Imperium is worth protecting ii) spends a lot of time trawling through the great libraries on his homeworld and takes time to write his own thesis on wide ranging topics from tactics to the nature of daemons iii) does not believe in religion in any form particularly in regards to chaos iv) friendly with all members of the imperium due to their isolation on the edge of known space with very little contact outside of the worlds they protect so take the opportunity to explore different view points or ideas to further refine their knowledge unless it is the ecclesiarchy v) generally upbeat and jovial because they believe that the imperium has the strength to hold out on all sides and often find themselves at odds with those who believe it to be the end times or that there is no hope. vi) sorrounds himself with images of death as a way of celebrating life, vi) wishes to have contact with the wider imperium but protecting the abandoned worlds limits the opportunity to leave their ever expanding protection zone vii) constantly seek to gain access to members of the librarium and techmarines, often feeling disappointment that they have been beat there and are not members themselves viii) once he has decided to join battle he shows a reckless stubbornness at odds with his friendly and introspective persona outside of battle ix) will constantly have a desire to return to the homeworld to take the half century ritual of defending the planet and adding to its libraries. Will also take the time to wander the planet and offer assistance to the populace training them in all aspects of warfare and defense against the wild beasts native to the planet.
