Thanks, I'm glad GW finally made the barrels the way they did on the new Termies too. They just look better when they're separated out.

Thanks, I just finished another one and I think he turned out better. I'm getting a lot more consistent with my results.

My converted Blood Angels Terminators (the 2014 Space Hulk models)
ron replied to ron's topic in + BLOOD ANGELS +
Thanks! I learned a good bit building them and red is a ton of fun to paint. -
I don't normally build or paint Blood Angels, but I figured if anybody was going to really appreciate them, it'd be BA players. This is my main Space Hulk squad. I just finished magnetizing the arms on my other Sergeant so I can play older second edition missions. The square bases make it easy to determine which way they're facing.
-
Thought I might share one of my new Wolf Guard for Space Hulk (that's why he's on a square base). Modeling/painting Space Wolves is still new for me, but figured you all might enjoy the pics.

I don't know if I've seen those or not. I limited my list to official stuff, but I'm interested in fan based stuff as well. I never realized how difficult it is to create a solid Space Hulk mission until I tried, so I appreciate one that's well done. -

ron replied to ron's topic in + OTHER GAMES +
Right! There are tons of variations, but sadly next to nothing new since third edition with the exception of "Disable The Shields" from WD 33 and "Corruption’s Heart" from WD 17. It's interesting to compare the subtle difference between missions... sometimes getting more Terminators or different weapon loadouts to accomplish the same objective. -
I know other posts have been done like this for Space Hulk... this one lists each mission and if it has been published before and after and where. If anyone finds any errors or knows of an official mission I'm missing, please let me know! Thanks and enjoy. How to read the list... Third Edition 8. Escape Route (WD115) (SHC) (4thM10) This mission is from Third Edition. It's the 8th mission in the campaign and it's called "Escape Route." I glanced at them quickly the other night (after I bought some) and the sculpts definitely look better quality in terms of detail. I think I'll actually build one in the next couple days and post a better comparison for folks who are interested.
-
For those curious... I just found out the new ones are slightly bigger than their previous counterparts. I found a youtube review of the models and the guy showed the size difference.
-
Yeah... I figured the bases were 32mm now. It's the model size I was really wondering about. Thanks though.
-
I'm posting here in hopes that someone way smarter than me can tell me if there is any size difference between the new 10th edition Genestealer sculpts and the older ones? Basically, are the new ones any bigger or are they just different poses? Thanks for the help!

unholysaint: If you've downloaded it from the site here (I'm gueesing that's what you mean), then your next step is to get it ready to print and then attach to your model. I've got two posts on my blog that might help you. 1. Making your own decals (start with this one since that's where you're at now) 2. Attaching decals to your models
