  3. Brethren, The purpose of this topic is to post your completed EC models... if you want to discuss the meaning of the words on his sword or potential conversions, then please do so in their own threads. For now, I'm purging this thread of extraneous posts. Thanks.
  4. I posted these in the BT forums as well, but I'm quite happy with this model (even though in the picture his face turned out darker than 'in the flesh') so I'll share it here as well. High Marshal Helbrecht

  6. I've got to run out the door to go to work, but I was reading an old WD last night (US 288) and there is the IA: Land Raider article. On the poster that shows a UM LR with some cross sections, there is also a listing of some famous Land Raiders. Among them, Boraneous Rex of the Vortigern Crusade. I'm not sure if someone pointed it out already or not, but I have to run and I didn't have time to check!
  7. Thanks for posting those, I'm not sure where I packed my novel away. Any chance you could leave me the second novel in your will? ;) That's probably the fastest way to get a copy without paying 15 times what it's worth...
  8. I do indeed mean those books. I e-mailed the BL once, and they told me they had "no plans to reprint either Armageddon books". Of course, that could change... but I too refuse to shell out so much money for one of their books, likely used to boot.
  9. Emperor's Champion Angsar (I think) was featured in the first of the Black Library BT books. There was also a named Dreadnought, Marshal (Brandt I think) and Castellan who's names also escape me. Guess what else I can't remember: the name of the Crusade, naturally. Stupid goldfish brain... I'm also not sure about any details from the sequel novel, since it's impossible to find. If I can find the first book in the next few days, I can probably elaborate on the above.
  10. As Vash states, this will eventually be found in the Librarium. The problem with stickies is that we have quite a few already.... and in the near future they will be pruned somewhat, or incorporated into the resource thread. That being said, there is no reason why the resource thread could not include a link to this history article.... which is almost certainly what will happen.
  11. Hmm... it would appear that I have been lax in my investigations into the local public library... Of course, perhaps they (and he) just like books? ;)
  12. Noooo! Take 2 Ah much better! Nice job, solid conversion work. What did you do to reposition the arms?
  13. Titan136, that is pretty intense! Looks like a heck of a presence on the battlefield, well done!
