Time to resurface this thread. Is it possible to turn this into a World Eater Warband? I envision a fallen Chapter co-opted by the World Eaters. Am I way off an idea like that?

I like that! While they are on the run. Maybe they have to abandon ship after being attacked by the Beagle-Tan and that's how they adapt to survive. *edit* and you should make them from the lineage of the 2nd or 11th Primarch.

First off, work sucks and I no longer have B&C time. RagingGriffon successor? :devil: I stopped reading here. Sorry, I just don't see a Chapter turning to shadow tactics on the Eldar's home turf and ambushing them. The whole Craftworld is alive. I doubt the Space Marines would be able to get the jump on them. I wrote that paragraph and went and finished the Origins section and I'm just not feeling it. Sorry, bro.

I was thinking Wu-Tang Clan, tbh. Jade Sparrow Clan, Onyx Lion Clan, etc. I haven't thought of specifics as if they are self sufficient or what. That is an avenue we can probe, though.

Remember, this is going to be 8-12 year olds beating each other. Maybe the clans bring their children to bring much honor to their clan. Incidently, I think we should go with "Clan" instead of Company. I kind of opposed to Deathworld. I am thinking island chains. Typhoons, sea monsters, that sort of thing. Imperials let it be becuase it wasn't really worth colonizing a bunch of islands.

AFIAK, the only people that have attacked a Craftworld is the Invaders. Maybe your guys attacked a Craftowrold, got stomped and were the "Do this/Don't this" of attacking a Craftworld. I don't know. I am just throwing something out there hoping it will spark something.

Lion Warriors Star Dragons And then I would opt for something Eagles, Tigers, or Snakes. Clearly I am opting for an animal theme. My top choice is Star Dragons. This is of course if we are all deciding to go for the martial arts/zen theme (which seems to be agreed upon to me). I don't think we are really moving forward per se. I think we are brainstorming a theme and trying to put a Chapter to that theme. Then I think we will be moving forward.

I don't think this fits with Knights Gryphonne. I think we all should find 3 Chapters that possibly embody this theme we are going for then post them here. Once we have three, and I am sure there are to be overlap, we will vote. Sound good?

Yeah, pretty much this. I picture their teachings to be mastery of one's self in homage to the Emperor. The bolter is an extension of the Marine allowing to strike from a distance... etc.
