  1. I think Logos, while not an I WIN button - has potential to pop off really big when used properly and is definitely one of the more "fluff-friendly" representations of a Legion on the tabletop. It's a way to give yourself interesting tactical decisions to make every turn.
  2. That's a lotta vehicles! Could get kinda crowded depending on terrain/deployment. Not sure about that Assault Squad? Could you use the points to have a 10-man Locutarus instead? Overall I like it. Excited to hear how this does as I'm also lookng at building a Logos list w/o Bobert in it.
  3. I got into the hobby during 3rd Ed., and for me at the time the Heresy felt so wildly mythological in how it was portrayed in the fluff. You'd see the odd diorama or some gnarly artwork, but mostly it was something you just read about in a sidebar or textbox, etc. That made it distant, kinda strange, and gave it a lot of gravitas. I think that mysterious and legendary vibe it had during my formative years in the hobby is what lets the Heresy era retain some of the magic - even though now it's so much more fleshed out.
  4. Anything is possible with faith in the Emperor. Also, there's a part on the map labeled 'Nachmund Gauntlet', just "east" of the Eye.
  5. Agreed. The cards are doing what a lot of people in my local group have been doing for years, finding ways to introduce new objectives and asymmetry to the game. Now if only we could get some more "historical" scenarios based around famous 40K events.
  6. Now we're talking my kind of Primaris marines.
  7. These damn Death Korps soldiers are depressing even for my Templars.
  8. 1 Sword Brother, 9 Initiates, 5 Neophytes. And a bunch of Guardsmen.
  9. In honor of the tradition around naming crusades about obscure sects and the constant struggle I had with them in my EUIII campaign as France, I'll be launching the small-scale Waldensian Crusade. This Crusader squad will be using some homebrew rules to participate in a local Shadow War campaign. The barrels will get drilled next week when I can get back to my regular workstation. The mold lines on one of my Initiates might require a backpack swap. First time hobbying in a while, hadn't planned to start a whole army but I might be getting the zeal.
  10. I have 5 Initiates but they're primed already. That seems against the spirit of the trules.
  11. Challenge accepted. I'll be putting together and painting a Shadow War team.http://i.imgur.com/OkpKnR6.png
  12. Has anyone painted a Primaris in Templar colors? I haven't stumbled across any.
  13. If you have a spot open, I've always wanted to be represented in 28mm. Do you have any tank commanders that need some personality?
  14. Krieg and Templars are a winning combination, Brother.
